HAUTLENCE: MOVING FORWARD!

HAUTLENCE: MOVING FORWARD!

After 11 years at the heart of the HAUTLENCE story, Guillaume Tetu has announced that he will be leaving the company to take up a new challenge.

To drive the company forward for the next exciting chapter in its development, Georges-Henri Meylan, MELB Group Chairman, is delighted to announce the arrival of Sandro Reginelli as the new CEO of HAUTLENCE, starting on 1 December 2015.

Active in the watchmaking industry since 1995, Sandro has all-round skills in global management and has held Executive responsibilities at Gucci Timepieces, Tag Heuer, Maurice Lacroix and Zino Davidoff. “Sandro knows very well HAUTLENCE and its DNA, being one of the original co-founders of the brand. We are convinced that we have the right person to take the company to the next level. We expect the transition phase with Guillaume to go very smoothly indeed”, Meylan adds.

Sandro Reginelli: “I am really excited about the challenge of taking HAUTLENCE forward. As one of the original founders of the company, HAUTLENCE has always been very close to my heart. I am really proud to see what has been achieved and am looking forward to continue building what started as a dream with friends 11 years ago.”

Bill Muirhead, MELB Group CEO: “We wish Guillaume all the best for the new challenge in his professional career, as he will always remain for HAUTLENCE one of its key ambassadors. He has worked tirelessly to create models that have excited watch collectors all around the world. Since MELB Holding took over the company in March 2012, we have worked diligently with Guillaume to first re-structure its activities and then re-position the brand. The next phase of the HAUTLENCE story is an expansion phase that essentially requires brand building and commercial acumen.”

HAUTLENCE
Like its name, an anagram of the brand’s hometown of Neuchâtel, HAUTLENCE is renowned for turning things upside down, ever since its foundation in 2004. The brand has challenged the boundaries of traditional watchmaking designs by drawing on its architecturally-inspired roots and uniting them with innovative mechanical solutions borrowed from other industrial worlds. Acutely aware of the two essential dimensions of time and space, HAUTLENCE is driven to design timepieces with original lines and multi- level dial constructions that provide incredible depth.

Its Gentlemen Rebels approach to watchmaking is perfectly embodied in its choice of brand ambassador, Eric Cantona, and its challenging communication message “CROSS THE LINE”.

The HAUTLENCE team looks forward to welcoming you to the Carré des Horlogers for the SIHH 2016 in Geneva.
