Franck Muller held the 22edition of the World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie (WPHH) in the exceptional city of Hong Kong for the very first time. Hosted on the 75th floor of the Central Plaza from 24th to the 27th September 2013, it captivated the attention of one and all. 

Geneva, 1st October 2013 – Being the highest watch exhibition in the world, the 22nd edition of the WPHH offered a splendid spotlight on the watchmaking skills and craftsmanship of the House of Franck Muller. For four straight days, watch aficionados and journalists were immersed into the world of magnificent novelties and creations. The collections were generously exhibited, highlighting the vast savoir faire of Franck Muller in Haute Horlogerie. 

Four craftsmen from Watchland were presenting some of the many skills found in the manufacture. They included, bevelling, engraving, dial making and watchmaking. 

A premiere showcase of Franck Muller creations: 

The curtains were raised to unveil the latest creation - the Giga Gong Tourbillon. This new in-house designed and manufactured manual timepice reinterprets the very distinguished Giga Tourbillon. Enhanced with a poetic complication, the Striking Hours, it will brighten up your day with its rhythmic chime upon the passage of the minute hour at twelve. It will strike the hours accordingly. 

Parallel to this, an array of other creations were presented including the Skeleton Collection. Detailed craftsmanship and pioneering mechanism, the 7 days Power Reserve is an undeniable Franck Muller classic. Embracing a new skeleton avataar, this collection is the quintessential rendering of the art of timekeeping. 

Another highly praised headliner was the exquisite and alluring Infinity Sunrise. Effortlessly feminine, the bold design of the Infinity Sunrise articulates Franck Muller’s vision of femininity, seduction and elegance. The sleek dial set with pave-diamonds accentuates the radiance of the timepiece. 

Legendary watches and a legendary event : 

The week was topped by an extravagant Gala night held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on the theme of a magical cabaret. Celebrities such as Cheung Chi Lam, the new ambassador of the brand in Asia, as well as Mr Byung Hun Lee and Michelle Reis were attending. 

Latest creations showcased in a chic decor, stylish lounge where guests could enjoy the spectacular view of the city and the dazzling gala night, this refined event lived up to all the expectations. With its independent, pioneering spirit and an unwavering quest for perfection, Franck Muller once again fulfilled its promises in the glamorous setting of Hong Kong.
