De Bethune capped a successful Salón Internacional de Alta Relojería (SIAR) in Mexico City by winning a prize for the DB28T Black Gold in the “Brand on the rise” category as part of watch magazine Timepo De Relojes’ Best of the Year Awards ceremony.

The award was announced during a closing gala dinner with the DB28T Black Gold catching the eye of a jury of watch journalists and jewelry experts.

The luxury watch fair from the 1st-3rd October was the seventh edition of the SIAR, the most important Haute Horlogerie exhibition in the region.

The DB28T Black Gold Hours features hours; minutes; ultra light silicon/titanium 30-second tourbillon. The dial features heat-blackened and mirror-polished steel; silver-toned minutes ring and blackened hours ring. The distinctively shaped case is in red gold and accompanied by anthracite zirconium floating lugs. And there is a 120-hour power reserve as part of the solid red gold caseback.
