The new CERTINA DS Podium Big Size Chronograph further strengthens the Swiss watchmaker’s relationship with rallying, especially in key markets where the sport is practically a way of life. With production limited to just 5000 units and outstanding accuracy thanks to its Swiss-Made quartz ETA PrecidriveTM chronograph movement with 1/100th-sec. precision, this exceptional timepiece will please both watch connoisseurs and rallying fans alike.

Highly evocative of car rallying in every aspect – with a carbon-fibre-finish dial surface, tech-ish counters and sporty design, it also comes in a special display box and includes a certificate of authenticity. 

At the Karlstad-based event’s Opening Ceremony, CERTINA President Adrian Bosshard gave a brief presentation of the main features of the new DS Podium Big Size Chronograph and handed over the first watches in the limited edition series to Oliver Ciesla, Managing Director of WRC Promoter GmbH as well as Mads Østberg and Kris Meeke, drivers with the manufacturer-backed Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team.

Last month CERTINA signed a new partnership agreement with Citroën, reinforcing its commitment to the exciting World Rally Championship. The watch will be available in the trade late February.
