Photo Gallery: An Intimate Collector Dinner With Akrivia In New York City
Last week, Watchonista joined forces with our friends at EsperLuxe to host watchmaker Rexhep Rexhepi and his eponymous brand Akrivia.

On the occasion of Akrivia’s master watchmaker Rexhep Rexhepi’s first trip to New York City. Watchonista joined forces with ExperLuxe to host the first collector showing of Akrivia timepieces in the US market. On-hand was the GPHG nominated Chronomètre Contemporain and a bevy of Akrivia’s highly regarded timepieces.
Over an intimate roundtable dinner in TriBeCa, Rexhepi presented his vision for Akrivia to the engaged collectors assembled on a warm fall evening. Our guests were presented with a wide selection of Akrivia timepieces including the stunning Akrivia AK-06.
Akrivia is doing something which few other independent watchmakers are. Their hand-finishing and in-house manufacture of multiple assets of their timepieces is unrivaled. Hearing Rexhepi's passion for his craft and the future of watchmaking was remarkable.
It was our pleasure to work with ExperLuxe’s Christopher Daaboul to orchestrate this extraordinary dinner. We look forward to seeing Akrivia evolve and we firmly believe after Rexhepi's brief stay in the America's, collectors will be yearning for his pieces for some time to come.
