Josh Shanks joined Watchonista in 2017 to lead our efforts in the North American market. Following several years of editorial excellence, consistent growth, and the launch of multiple new lines of business, Shanks was promoted to the role of global Editor-in-Chief in 2020. With a professional background in technology and finance, Shanks began his horological journey as a collector. Always in search of a good story, a nail-biting auto race, or a new watchmaking innovation, Josh embodies Watchonista’s values of passion, collecting, a love of watchmaking, and, most importantly, community.
