An estimated thirty VIP guests recently had the immense privilege to spend an evening at the Château de Versailles. Welcomed by a lecturer, guests first visited the Queen’s palace (a place she considered a respite from the French court’s highly structured protocol), followed by a harp concert at the French Pavilion. This cultural escape ended with cocktails in the Petit Trianon gardens, where time gave way to splendor.
