In 30 years, the Breitling Chronomat has asserted itself as the ultimate aviator’s chronograph. It now sets off to conquer feminine wrists in a new model with a highly contemporary style in a 38 mm diameter and a high-tech tungsten carbide bezel.
Created in 1984 for elite international pilots, the Chronomat perfectly sums up the entire Breitling philosophy. In changing size, the Chronomat has also changed face by adopting a sleeker style. Its standout characteristic is a new smooth bezel in tungsten carbide, a high-tech, ultra-hard and scratchproof material whose color makes a subtle contrast with the polished steel of the case.
The black lacquered dial features toneon- tone totalizers. For a more refined touch, Breitling also offers mother-of-pearl dials with or without diamond hour-markers, as well as an optional diamond-set steel bezel. In terms of performance, the Chronomat 38 SleekT retains all the assets that have made this model an authentic instrument for professionals. Endurance, with a sturdy steel case water-resistant to 100 m (330 ft). Readability, with luminescent hands and large hour-markers, as well as a sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides. Ergonomics, with a profile molding the wrist and a metal bracelet that is both supple and comfortable.
Precision, with a selfwinding chronograph movement chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute).
