Montblanc Launches Its 2019 Women’s Watch Collections In Shanghai
Montblanc brought together inspiring and accomplished women for the launch of its new women’s timepieces. ‘My Life. My Decision’ was a celebration of the modern women who make their mark in every aspect of life, who are true to their passions and dreams, and know how to express themselves with confidence.
For one night only, the 1862 Shanghai Fashion Art Center was transformed into a chic urban space where Montblanc introduced its latest watch collections, including the new Bohème Lady creations and the Star Legacy Moonphase & Date, a watchmaking tribute to the modern and independent Montblanc woman.
Montblanc CEO Mr. Nicolas Baretzki, Executive Vice President Marketing Mr. Vincent Montalescot, , CEO of Montblanc China Mr. Daniel Chang, and Mr. Yang Yang, Brand Ambassador of Montblanc China celebrated together with distinguished guests worldwide together. The newly announced Female Friend of Brand, actresses Jinyan WU and Lan QIN showed their debut as well other special women who each embody the ‘My Life. My Decision’. philosophy: writer Fangzhou JIANG, artist Xiaoling LI, fashion figures Savislook and Zola ZHANG, shared their inspiring stories of self-expression and their fascinating life experiences.
Self-expression was brought to life in three different ways: calligraphy, craftsmanship and art. Using innovative Montblanc Augmented Paper technology, guests expressed themselves with their own handwriting on the pages of a guest book, with their calligraphy instantly projected on an expression screen becoming a piece of collective art. In a live performance, a craftswoman from Montblanc’s watch manufacture delighted guests with the mastery of technical watchmaking skills. Female dance artist delighted guests with her performance blending pictorial art and dance expression. Design elements of the Montblanc emblem and the ingenious crystal ball display of the Bohème collection brought elegance and fun to the backdrop the photo booth where guests captured the moment. Following the panel talk moderated by fashion lifestyle contributor, guests danced to the tracks spun female DJ late into the evening.
The watch novelties displayed inside hanging crystal balls included the Bohème Day/Night with the day indicated by a light blue sky and golden sun and the night represented by a smiling golden moon in a dark blue sky adorned with stars, the Bohème Full Calendar featuring a full calendar complication in a pure and elegant aesthetic and finally, the exquisite and elegant Bohème Manufacture Perpetual Calendar with the complex functions of a full calendar. A show-stopping timepiece, the Bohème ExoTourbillon Slim Limited Edition is equipped with the Montblanc Manufacture automatic calibre MB 29.24, featuring the Maison’s patented Exo Tourbillon mechanism. And the Star Legacy Moonphase & Date also showcase the spirit of formal elegance for ladies.
