Triumph for Elizabeth Madden and Breitling LS at the 2018 Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping Final

USA’s Elizabeth Madden riding Breitling LS captured the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping Final in Paris, of which Longines is the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch. American rider Devin Ryan and Eddie Blue ranked second ahead of Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann and Toveks Mary Lou.

The grand Final marked the end of a remarkable season during which top-level riders and horses competed in the three regional leagues – Western European, North American and China – to qualify for the coveted Final. Besides, Longines and the FEI were delighted to celebrate equestrian excellence during the first Longines FEI World’s Best Jumping Horse and Rider Awards Ceremony held at the iconic Mairie de Paris on Wednesday 11 April. On this occasion, American mare HH Azur and USA’s rider Kent Farrington were honoured.

On 15 April 2018, Elizabeth Madden (USA) aboard Breitling LS reigned supreme at the 2018 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final by imposing themselves at the three rounds of the final, which were held at the impressive AccorHotels Arena in Paris. Spectators were rewarded with a truly thrilling Final during which American rider Devin Ryan on Eddie Blue took second place ahead of Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann on Toveks Mary Lou. As the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of this event, Longines proudly crowned the new World Champion and presented the star rider, along with the second and third, an elegant Longines timepiece.

On 14 April 2018 in Paris, Isabell Werth (GER) and Weihegold OLD claimed the title at the FEI World Cup™ Dressage Final, of which Longines was the Official Timekeeper.

In addition, as the Official Timekeeper of the FEI World Cup™ Dressage Final, Longines was honored to reward German rider Isabell Werth and Weihegold OLD, who claimed the final on Saturday 14 of April. Laura Graves (USA) and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (GER) who took respectively second and third place, were also presented with a Longines timepiece.
