Due to their extraordinary performances in the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup competitions, Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) and Alexis Pinturault (FRA) are currently leading the Longines Rising Ski Stars ranking.

This prize was introduced by Longines at the beginning of the ski season 2012/2013 in Sölden and will be awarded to the best young female (under 21) and male (under 23) athlete taking part in the World Cup. This new competition reflects Longines’ continued support for young athletes.
