Longines welcomes its Ambassador of Elegance Eddie Peng at the 2017 Longines Hong Kong International Races

The Longines Hong Kong International Races, supported by the Swiss watch brand Longines as Title Partner and Official Timekeeper, are considered by many as the most exciting climax of the international horseracing year.

In addition the four featured Group 1 races – the Longines Hong Kong Vase, the Longines Hong Kong Sprint, the Longines Hong Kong Mile and the Longines Hong Kong Cup – the spectators could enjoy the presence of the brand’s Ambassador of Elegance Eddie Peng. The Taiwanese actor is the main character of Longines’ latest TV post featuring the Record collection, the Official Watch of the Longines Hong Kong International Races. Combining classic elegance and excellence, this timepiece houses a movement which includes a mono-crystal silicon balance spring with unique properties.

The Swiss watch brand Longines was proud to return for the 6th consecutive year as Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines Hong Kong International Races, one of the most exciting climaxes of the international horseracing year. Longines had the pleasure to reward the winners of the four international Group 1 races with elegant Longines timepieces. Highland Reel ridden by 2014 and 2016 Longines World’s Best Jockey Ryan Moore claimed the Longines Hong Kong Vase (2400m), while Mr Stunning led by Nash Rawiller triumphed in the Longines Hong Kong Sprint (1200m). The Longines Hong Kong Mile (1600m) saw the victory of Beauty Generation and Derek Leung Ka-chun. As for the much-anticipated Longines Hong Kong Cup (2000m), it was won by Time Warp led by Zac Purton, winner of the 2017 Longines International Jockeys’ Championship on Wednesday.

This year, the spectators had another surprise to look forward to with the presence at the races of Longines Ambassador Eddie Peng. Perfectly reflecting the brand’s motto “Elegance is an Attitude”, the Taiwanese actor presented the Longines Prize for Elegance, which rewards the lady in attendance with the most stylish look. Earlier that day, the Taiwanese actor Eddie Peng paid a visit to Longines’ Star House boutique, where he could meet his fans and sign some autographs. In addition, he received the Official Watch of the Longines Hong Kong International Races, a model from the Record Collection, aspiring to become the spearheads of the brand. Besides, this timepiece, which combines classic elegance and excellence, as well as Eddie Peng, are featured in the brand’s latest TV spot, currently broadcast in the entire Asian continent.
