Berlin joined the Longines Global Champions Tour

The Longines Global Champions Tour stopped in Berlin from the 28th to the 30th of July for its eleventh leg. The German capital thus makes its debut on the show-jumping circuit. As Title Partner of the series, Longines is proud to have timed the victory of German rider Christian Ahlmann on Codex One during the highlight competition of the weekend, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Berlin. The Swiss watch brand also presented the Official Watch of the event, a new variation of The Longines Master Collection.

Berlin hosted the Longines Global Champions Tour for the very first time this weekend. The eleventh leg of the series gathered the best international riders and horses of the world at The Sommergarten at the Funkturm. As Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the 15-leg circuit, Longines is proud to have presented the highlight competition of the event, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Berlin won by Germand rider Christian Ahlmann on Codex One.

This competition allows the riders to score points for the Longines Global Champions Tour Ranking and for the Longines FEI Rankings. At the moment, after 11 legs, Harrie Smolders from Netherlands is number one with 252 points. Launched in April in Mexico City, the circuit will end in November in Doha. Longines is proud to lend its name to this 5* show jumping competition and provide its timekeeping expertise to all its trials.
