Chicago: A new stop for the tourbillon exhibition
Thursday October 24, 2013, after a successful inauguration at the Breguet boutique in Beverly Hills, the exhibition “Breguet the Innovator. Inventor of the Tourbillon.” continues its US tour and is welcomed in Chicago to the delight of all fine watchmaking enthusiasts.
Through a large contemporary collection of tourbillon wristwatches, along with rare historic pocket watches, this retrospective offers a unique look into the brand’s horological legacy and its contributions to the modern watchmaking.
Among the timepieces on display are a tourbillon repeater chronometer from 1812, a legendary perpétuelle pocket watch with "à toc" quarter repeater - known as the “No. 5” -, and the 5377 ultra-thin tourbillon introduced at Baselworld this year.
