The award for "The Man of the year" goes to Mr. Marc A. Hayek, President & CEO of Blancpain since 2002 while the prize for "Best complication of the Year" honours the Villeret Traditional Chinese Calendar, the first wristwatch equipped with a traditional Chinese calendar. Its complexity stems as much from the number of indications to be displayed as from the irregular nature of their cycles.
