BLANCPAIN OPENS ITS FIRST BOUTIQUE IN CHENGDU IN THE SINO-OCEAN TAIKOO LI DISTRICT

Blancpain is proud to announce the opening of its boutique in the historic centre of Chengdu. After Beijing and Shanghai, Chengdu is the third Chinese city to welcome a Blancpain boutique.

This opening, which will bring the number of boutiques on Chinese territory to nine, reinforces the presence of the Manufacture in the Middle Empire. Located in the Sino-Ocean Taikoo Lidistrict, on the corner of Chunxi Road and the Daci temple, it rubs shoulders with historic buildings and modern monuments in an area in which history, culture, nature and art meet and mingle.

Sichuan Province is heir to the traditional Chinese Bashu culture and endowed with opulence, stability and riches that have earned it a reputation as the ‘kingdom of heaven’. Its capital, Chengdu, nicknamed the city of the hibiscus, now welcomes Blancpain, the oldest watchmaking brand in the world. This is an opportunity for the Manufacture to promote its know-how in a prosperous and rapidly expanding market.

While each boutique has its own personality, Blancpain expresses the spirit of its Manufacture in Le Brassus in each and every one of them. The interior décor is infused with the brand’s heritage. The cherry wood used for the furniture and the display window design are inspired by the architecture of the workshops and master-watchmakers’ workbenches. This peaceful environment is eminently conducive to discovering watchmaking know-how.

The boutique offers visitors an opportunity to admire Blancpain timepieces and all the collections – from Villeret to Fifty Fathoms, along with models developed exclusively for the boutiques.
