Blancpain once again participates in the “A 4 Manos” gastronomy symposium

For the fourth consecutive year, Blancpain is participating in the “A 4 Manos” gastronomy event, which sees the world’s most prestigious chefs congregate in Marbella, in Spain. On display are the natural affinities between Haute Horlogerie and Haute Cuisine. The event is a fine example of Blancpain’s art de vivre philosophy

Blancpain’s connection with this exclusive gastronomic event dates back to its first edition, in 2014. Blancpain has a deeply held conviction that there is a close bond between the art of living and fine dining and the world of traditional watchmaking. Each of these domains share common values including the pursuit of excellence, passionate enthusiasm, expertise, sureness of touch and meticulous craftwork.

It is therefore very natural for Blancpain to nurture special relationships with the greatest multi-starred chefs such as Joël Robuchon and Claude Bossi. They were joined in 2016 by Dani García. The latter is the first Spanish chef to become a member of the Blancpain family and now measures cooking times for his magnificent culinary creations with his Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph.

This relationship is again showcased in the gastronomy symposium “A 4 Manos”, which will be held in Marbella from the May 27th to 31st, featuring top chefs including Ferrán Adriá, Juan Mari Arzak, Quique Dacosta and Ángel León, who this year pay tribute to the Japanese chef Nobu San.

During these four days, the sum of values and processes shared by Blancpain and the world of Haute Cuisine blend into an unquestionable appreciation of “The Art of Living” and of course a demonstration of Blancpain’s watchmaking savoir-faire and its guarantee of accurate culinary timing.
