The Blancpain GT Series Europe season has begun !

The launch of the Blancpain GT Series Europe 2017 took place in Monza, Italy on April 22nd and 23rd, drawing around 20,000 spectators. A championship now exported to Asia, and as of next year to the United States, showcasing a development that has turned the Blancpain GT Series into the largest GT series in the world.

Blancpain and the world of motorsport

Over the past nine years, Blancpain has emerged as a pre-eminent force in the field of motorsport and established a leading profile among automobile manufacturers, drivers and spectators. The watch Manufacture has become an international benchmark in GT racing through its partnerships such as the Blancpain GT Series Europe (comprising the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Blancpain Sprint Series), the Blancpain GT Series Asia, the Blancpain Sports Club and the British GT Championship. Watchmaking and automotive mechanics meet and mingle, as Blancpain thrives on being in the center of the action by serving as official race timekeeper.

Blancpain experience

At each event, Blancpain welcomes its guests in a dedicated onsite area. Uniting the worlds of Haute Horlogerie, cutting-edge motorsports and Art de vivre, this is an ideal meeting place for amateur and professional drivers as well as watch enthusiasts. It provides a perfect setting within which devotees of finely made timepieces and cars can meet up and experience a shared passion, as well as following the races live. Guests can also discover the world of gastronomy cherished by Blancpain. Carefully selected wines as well as gourmet dishes are served during mealtimes.

This hotspot offers an immersion into the world of the Manufacture Blancpain, notably thanks to a workshop area where the onsite master-watchmaker gives various demonstrations.

Friends of the brand also have the possibility of enjoying a unique behind-the-scenes race experience. Among the various activities on offer are a visit to Blancpain Timekeeping and a backstage look at TV broadcasts, thus enabling Blancpain guests to experience races from the inside.
