Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) 2024: The Finalists Are Announced!

The watch world doesn’t really have its own version of the Academy Awards. However, that said, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) is about as close as the watch industry comes to a peer-nominated awards program with the appropriate amount of gravitas.

For the 2024 edition, for which the awards ceremony will taking place on Thursday, November 13, 2024, in Geneva, the list of finalists includes 90 watches broken out into 15 categories with for the first time the “Time Only” category. And while each prize category will have one declared winner, it is an incredible honor even to be nominated. Meanwhile, only one singular timepiece can win the coveted Aiguille d’Or trophy. Last year, the Aiguille d’Or Grand Prize went to the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Ultra-Complication Universelle RD#4.
 

In the weeks leading up to the official ceremony, the GPHG will taking the nominated watches on a global tour so that watch enthusiasts can drool over these mechanical marvels in the metal.
