Successful Start of the Roadshow in Geneva

The watches premièred by A. Lange & Söhne at the SIHH in Geneva will be showcased at the brand boutiques around the world.

At the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva, journalists and dealers were impressed by the new A. Lange & Söhne collection. The brand booth also impressed the trade visitors from all over the world. Its design was dedicated to Ferdinand Adolph Lange, whose birthday has its 200th anniversary on 18th February 2015.

Never stand still

„Never stand still“ – the anniversary year of A. Lange & Söhne is characterised by this life motto of the ninety-year-old Walter Lange. His great-grandfather, the Dresden watchmaker Ferdinand Adolph Lange laid the cornerstone of Saxony’s precision watchmaking with the establishment of his watch manufactory in Glashütte in 1845.

„Never stand still“ – this is also the philosophy of the product developers at A. Lange & Söhne. Once more, the traditional brand demonstrates this with the new ZEITWERK MINUTE REPEATER. Articulately designed, it combines a mechanical jumping numerals display with a decimal minute repeater for the first time, and therefore is a technical sensation in the exalted category of chiming wristwatches.

The LANGE 1 has been the face of A. Lange & Söhne since 1994. The new edition of the successful model has been endowed with a technically evolved manually wound calibre, whereas its inimitable design was preserved.

The debuts collection is rounded off by new versions of the DATOGRAPH UP/DOWN and the DATOGRAPH PERPETUAL as well as three models of the SAXONIA family with newly designed dials.

In the coming months, collectors and prospects will get the chance to take a look at the new models at exclusive events in the 14 A. Lange & Söhne boutiques. The different tour stations will be announced on Facebook.
