A. Lange & Söhne is heightening its commitment to the world of classic cars as a partner of “Classic Days” at Dyck Castle and the associated Concours d’Élégance “Masterpieces & Style”.

The international Concours d’Élégance “Masterpieces & Style” will take place in the glorious setting of Dyck Castle near Düsseldorf from 18 to 20 June 2015 and be attended by collectors, aficionados and experts on historic masterpieces from the heyday of bodywork and prototype construction. In the competition in the highest FIVA category (A), a maximum of 65 carefully selected classic cars will be assessed by a judging panel of international experts. The winner of the “Best of Show” award will receive an invitation to an exclusive weekend in Dresden with a visit to the A. Lange & Söhne manufactory in the nearby watchmaking town of Glashütte.

On the first weekend in August, the Saxon watch brand will also be present at the classic cars and motor sport festival “Classic Days” at Dyck Castle. In front of the Rhenish moated castle and its English landscaped garden, attendees experience a unique journey through the automotive history. Since 2006, the annual event attracts tens of thousands of visitors to the impressive setting around the eleventh-century castle.

Since 2012, the Saxony-based watch brand A. Lange & Söhne has been supporting the legendary Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Como, northern Italy. For Andreas Haude, General Manager of A. Lange & Söhne Northern Europe, the new partnership with both events at Dyck Castle is therefore a logical continuation of the brand’s commitment to the classic car sector. After all, “collectors of precision engineered timekeepers and aficionados of historic cars are both passionate about technology and elegance.”
