Announced by Jean-Claude Biver (CEO TAG Heuer) at the Geneva Motor Show, TAG Heuer is now an Official Partner of Aston Martin Racing. A monumental move that places TAG Heuer at the forefront of World Endurance Racing. This partnership will bring the two iconic luxury brands together to take to the track and prove their dominance. As a fan of both brands, I’m very much looking forward to seeing what kind of results this partnership generates. Both on the track and on the wrist, we should see some very exciting things soon.

Unveiled at SIHH 2018, the new Hermès Carrè H is a contemporary update to the original French design. While the original Carré H was priced at $15,000 USD, this new model comes in at $7,725 USD and packs quite a punch. The special horizontal and vertical guilloche dial pattern is a marvel in-person. Longer hands and a refined titanium case make for a very elegant execution. Equipped with an automatic Hermès embossed Voucher movement. And of course, like all Hermès timepieces, the watch comes fitted to a Barenia leather strap in brown or black. Easily one of my favorite pieces of 2018!

You’ll discover an extensive collection of novelties for men and women, along with rotating archival pieces from the Breguet museum. I had the opportunity to visit during the opening and even took my turn at the guilloche machine, it was a marvelous evening hosted by one of my favorite brands."

Omega's ultra-modern factory is no doubt among the most advanced production facilities in the watch industry. After the official speeches, we had the opportunity to have a brief tour inside and I must say that is an amazing environment to work. Shigeru Ban did a great job. Forget the image of the old watchmaker in his dusty manufacture. We are closer to Kubrik’s 2011 space odyssey with the automated stock and robotized testing. But but do not worry… the human still very present. Congrats to Omega and Swatch Group! What a fantastic way to spend CHF150m!
