Breguet Debuts its New Boutique in New York

Thursday November 30, the House of Breguet debuted the reopening of its New York flagship store on Fifth Avenue, which moved to the St. Regis Hotel.

Nearly 100 guests had the privilege to discover an entirely renovated salon, featuring a new architectural concept. Spanning 240 square meters, it offers its visitors an ambiance exuding heritage and craftsmanship, such as frosted clear glass with guilloche imagery.

The event featured a watchmaker demonstrating the art of guilloche on watch dials, as well as two specialty timepieces. The first is the replica of Winston Churchill’s "turnip," created for the movie “Darkest Hour” starring Gary Oldman as Churchill. The second is a pocket watch from 1817, one of the original thirty-five tourbillon made by A.-L. Breguet during his lifetime.

Festivities around this new location will continue in 2018.
