Team Belgium Claimed Victory At The Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final In Barcelona

As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM series, Longines timed the victory of Team Belgium at the coveted Final held at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. France’s Team finished second ahead of Team Ireland.

On Saturday 6 October, the winged hourglass brand was also proud to be associated with another highlight of the event, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM Final – Longines Challenge Cup, won by Team Germany. Moreover, the spectators present at this world-class jumping show event had the chance to discover the Official Watch of the competition, a model belonging to the Record collection. This festive weekend was also the opportunity for the Swiss watchmaking brand to celebrate its 1’000’000th Instagram account follower.

Longines was delighted to be the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final, which took place today at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. The Swiss watchmaking brand - FEI’s Top Partner - had the pleasure to time the victory of Team Belgium made up of Niels Bruynseels on Gancia de Muze, Pieter Devos on Claire Z, Jos Verlooy on Caracas and Nicola Philippaerts on H&M Harley V. Bisschop. As a reward for their triumph, the winning team members were presented with an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Benjamin Aeby Longines International Sponsorship & Events Manager together with Gaëtan Audier Longines International Merchandising Manager. This thrilling Final marked the end of several months of intense preparation and exciting competitions across the world.
 

On Saturday 6 October, Longines was associated with another highlight of the event, the Longines FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping - Challenge Cup, won by Team Germany ahead of Team United States of America and Team Brazil.
 

Longines was also proud to present the Official Watch of the event, a model belonging to the Record collection, which combines classic elegance and excellence, aspiring to become the spearheads of the brand. Each piece in this line houses a movement including a single-crystal silicon balance spring with unique properties and is certified as a “chronometer” by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

On Friday 5 October, Instagram influencers and followers from all over the world were gathered in Barcelona by the Swiss watchmaking brand, active on the social media platform since 2014.
