To celebrate Watchonista’s first print edition, our friends at Omega hosted a party last week at the Omega Boutique on Fifth Avenue. So we invited collectors and some of our closest friends to mark the occasion.

Just before 6:30 pm last Thursday, as bottles of Omega-branded Bollinger Champagne were popped and glasses of Glen Grant Whiskey were neatly poured, Team Watchonista awaited the arrival of collectors and friends at the Omega Boutique on Fifth Avenue to celebrate the New York launch of Watchonista: Volume 01. But more than that, we here at Watchonista were excited to mark the occasion with our cover brand, Omega.
Our cover star – a.k.a. the Omega Seamaster 300 Bronze Gold – was flown in from Geneva, as well as an impressive assortment of Speedmaster Chronoscopes and boutique exclusives. These watches, prominently displayed throughout the elegant boutique, were there for guests to lust over and maybe even purchase after fortifying themselves (and their wallets) with some liquid courage courtesy of The Glen Grant’s finely aged whiskey.
The gathering was truly representative of the Watchonista spirit: celebrating a community filled with passion, warmth, and enthusiasm. But more significantly, it was the ideal way to wrap up Watchonista: Volume 01’s roll-out.
