So, join us as we delve into the other interests of people better known for their love of watches. Take a sip of this first instalment of The Lounge by Watchonista’s new four-part video series.

For “The Aperitivo,” we speak to independent watch critic & collector, Carson Chan. As knowledgeable as he is talented, Carson can disassemble and reassemble an engine as quickly and as easily as he can mix the perfect cocktail.

Sure, Porsche lovers can like the occasional Ferrari model, but, in the end, they will always return to Porsche because the inner passions that rule enthusiasts are often hard to articulate, let alone alter. And unsurprisingly, the two iconic cocktails offered before our dinner – a martini and a negroni – evoked similarly strong responses.
Our visiting mixologist, Carson Chan, shared his secrets to mastering these two cocktails and explained the history behind some common variations of the negroni and (his preferred drink) the martini.
