Born and raised in Milan and always, Andrea Casalegno has been around watchmaking for over nine years, first as a young collector and enthusiast, then as founder of RedBar Milano and other groups.
Now as a member of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie, Andrea works as a freelance consultant and communicator and shares his personal (yet highly knowledgable) approach to horological history to the community via IamCasa, a multilingual project aimed at telling the stories behind beautiful and rare watches for anyone and everyone willing to learn.
In his downtime, Andrea enjoys traveling around the world to different watch events, living La Dolce Vita, and even writing about watches from time to time.
Proud to be named to the Watchonista’s inaugural 30 under 30(ish) List, Andrea is excited to be a contributing writer for an online and print publication he has long admired.
