The International Chocolatiers and Chocolate Fair Geneva

Geneva, October 4th to 6th. Dedicated to excellence in the realm of chocolate and the creative talent of the best chocolate artisans, the International Chocolatiers and Chocolate Fair was a huge success this past weekend.

Nearly 6,000 visitors came to see these chocolate specialists at work and were thus able to take part in gourmet tastings, witness live demonstrations, attend lectures by international experts and be introduced to chocolate’s most subtle aromas and flavours.

It was in this warm, gourmet atmosphere that the Manufacture Zenith, partner to the International Chocolatiers and Chocolate Fair in Geneva invited a number of guests for a Friday night preview of a chocolate workshop held by chocolate-maker Roger Rohr.

Paying careful attention to the master’s advice, everyone managed to produce their traditional chocolate marmite or cauldron that is symbolically tasted during the “Escalade” celebrations commemorating how the people of Geneva repulsed an attack on the city.
