Cabriolet De Lempicka

Created exclusively for TimeForArt, the one-of-one Universal Genève Cabriolet De Lempicka transforms a historic design into a contemporary work of art. Its teal velvet aesthetic, matching alligator strap and 18K rose-gold case are complemented by a hand-painted miniature of Tamara de Lempicka’s “Portrait d’Ira P.” on the caseback, created with miniaturist Isabelle Villa.

Originally launched in 1933 as the Ideo, the reversible Cabriolet protected its dial through an ingenious flipping case. Its revival combines Art Deco influences with modern watchmaking, featuring Cassandre’s Bifur typography, lacquered numerals and alternating polished and brushed finishes.

Powered by the 3 mm manual-winding UG-111 calibre, the watch offers a 72-hour power reserve and variable-inertia balance. A concave caseback, shock-resistant construction and “1/1” engraving complete this unique expression of functional beauty.
