Australia’s leading Swiss watch brand, TAG Heuer is proud to continue its long standing partnership with the Australian Open golf championship which took place over the weekend at Royal Sydney Golf Club.

In a thrilling finish 24 year old Irishman, Rory McIlroy birdied the 18th hole to claim victory over US Masters champion and home favourite Adam Scott.

TAG Heuer was the Official Timekeeper for the tournament which together with the Australian Masters at Royal Melbourne in November, Perth International at Karrinyup iin October, and Australian Women’s Open at Royal Melbourne earlier this year, cements TAG Heuer’s long term association with golf in Australia.

The field competed for $1.25 million in prize money and the tournament champion, Rory McIIroy was presented with the TAG Heuer LINK chronograph.

TAG Heuer owned the 12th hole and TAG Heuer clocks were prominently positioned in the television arcs of the 1st, 10th, 17th and 18th tees for maximum television exposure and broadcast value.
