Tag Heuer Celebrates 50years of Carrera at Goodwood Festival of Speed in UK
The largest motoring garden party in the world hosted the Carrera’s 50th birthday, from 11th-14th July 2013 just outside of London, UK. A retail and exhibition space celebrated the milestone of the much-loved Carrera with a display of historic models and a range of exciting new designs.
Goodwood showcased a special Celebration Class of iconic cars representing TAG Heuer ’s unique association with motorsport and the Greatest Endurance Races, including cars that raced in Carrera PanAmericana and Le Mans.
TAG Heuer also used the Festival to unveil the Carrera Calibre 1887 Jack Heuer 80 Limited Edition.
Following on from its success last year, TAG Heuer continued to improve the experience for both competitors and spectators with the return of innovative features such as the 100m timed dash off the start line, timing boxes and speed traps.
TAG Heuer Ambassadors Jenson Button, Sergio Perez and Allan McNish attended the Festival of Speed.
The partnership with Goodwood raises the TAG Heuer brand profile in a relevant and luxury driven environment while this year, increasing the awareness of 50 Years of Carrera message. It reinforces the brand's DNA of motor racing and sport while our hospitality program continues to foster key relationships with press and generate extensive coverage.
