TAG Heuer Ambassador Kei Nishikori wins the Japan Open

Tokyo, Sunday, October 7, 2012 — Tennis Pro and TAG Heuer Ambassador Kei Nishikori of Japan wins the Japan Open.

Kei Nishikori beat Milos Raonic of Canada 7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-0. It is his second career ATP tour title and the first time in the 41-year history of the tournament that a Japanese player wins, which thrilled the crowd who had gathered massively to witness the victory.
 
“To have won this tournament in Japan is a very happy occasion for me,” Nishikori said. 
 
22-year old Kei Nishikori, ranked 17th at ATP, has become a TAG Heuer ambassador for Japan in 2012 and has been playing with his watch since then.
 
Holding the Japan Open Trophy, Nishikory proudly sported his TAG Heuer Formula 1 Steel and Ceramic Chronograph, his partner in victory.
