Oracle Team USA wins 2012/2013 America’s Cup World Series

Yesterday, in Naples, Italy, ORACLE TEAM USA won the second edition of the America’s Cup World Series, with 54 points ahead of its first runner-up. After having won the first ever World Series during 2011/2012, the San Francisco-based team realized a perfect start winning the 2 first World Series in San Francisco bay in August & October 2012. In Naples, the team won again the Match Race and finished also first ex-aequo of the Fleet races ranking, after a nice second place on the Super Final on Sunday.
On the podium, ORACLE TEAM USA crew celebrated their great victory, proudly wearing TAG Heuer colors on their arm, TAG Heuer Aquaracer 500M chronograph Team USA edition at their wrist as well as red TAG Heuer racer sunglasses.

The team will now focus on preparing the America’s Cup starting on September 7th in San Francisco bay, on “AC72” boats. They will train all over the summer in the bay with their 2 giant catamarans to get ready to defend their Trophy against a Challenger team, which will be qualified after next July sailing competition among all challengers.
