Japan : TAG Heuer introduces Limited edition “Aquaracer Ogasawara World Heritage” pair of watches

Benefiting to preserve the unique ecosystem of the Ogasawara Islands, now registered as UNESCO World Heritage.

A phantasmagorical introduction to the depth of the seas: in the new 634 meter-high landmark of Tokyo and in presence of the Mayor of Ogasawara Islands, TAG Heuer revealed on the day of the official registration as UNESCO World Heritage, the Aquaracer Ogasawara World Heritage pair of watches.

Blue as the dial of the new Aquaracer Ogasawara World Heritage. Blue as the night-sky and the Sky-tree illumination. Blue as the sea. Blue as the underlying theme color of TAG Heuer diving collection. The 135 journalists and 50 VIP guests discovered the Bridal model, inspired by the very special blue of the Ogasawara Islands sea - the farest part of Tokyo city located at 1000 km south for the megalopolis- and the new Aquaracer 300 meters collection coming this fall, surrounded by the penguins parade.

The Summer Japan limited edition will contribute to preserve the unique ecosystem of the Ogasawara Islands, with a donation of a part of the profits which will be generated by the sales of the watch.

In the night-time aquarium, TAG Heuer offered an infinitely relaxing “moment in blue”. A breaking-routine journey out of the urban ocean.
