Chris Hemsworth, renowned Australian actor and brand’s International Ambassador, joined Benoit Toulin, President of LVMH Watch & Jewellery Greater China, Loic Biver, Head of Marketing of LVMH Watch & Jewellery Greater China, Leo Poon, TAG Heuer General Manager of Greater China and Vern Reid, Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Rugby Union (HKRU) to officiate the grand opening of TAG Heuer boutique at Ocean Terminal and the activation ceremony kicking off the partnership of TAG Heuer and HKRU. William Ward, Founding Partner of ROAR Management, also joined the event.

The opening and ribbon cutting ceremony started with a welcome speech by Loic Biver, who invited Chris Hemsworth to share his experience on #DontCrackUnderPressure. Vern Reid introduced the Hong Kong Rugby Team and received a symbolic TAG Heuer clock while he presented a rugby ball to Leo Poon in return, officializing the partnership of TAG Heuer and the Hong Kong Rugby Union.

The guests were then invited to move to Harbour City roof top, celebrating the partnership of TAG Heuer and Hong Kong Rugby Union, and raise funds for the Hong Kong Rugby Union Community Foundation, in support of the development of rugby sports in Hong Kong. Chris Hemsworth, Loic Biver and three members of the Hong Kong Rugby Team showcased their sports talent by kicking rugby balls to the goal post and raised a total of HKD200,000 for the Hong Kong Rugby Union Community Foundation. 

Chris Hemsworth said “I am very excited to be part of this world renowned event. I’m no stranger to pressure and these players are about to have a lot put on them. The motto of #DontCrackUnderPressure is a good reminder for us all.”
