Official description

Founded in 2023 in Paris by Théo Auffret, an independent watchmaker, and Guillaume Laidet, the entrepreneur behind the revival of Nivada and Vulcain, SpaceOne stands out as the new alternative to high horology, offering futuristic designs and innovative complications on a down-to-earth budget.

Following the success of the Jumping Hour in 2023, chapter 2 of SpaceOne is born in April 2024: The Tellurium.

Created in collaboration with designer Olivier Gamiette, this elegant, futuristic timepiece is entirely made of Grade 5 titanium. A sapphire crystal dome overhangs the construction, revealing the aventurine dial and the titanium planets dancing around it.

Indeed, these planets are an integral part of the complication, which includes a simple calendar (hours, minutes, months and days), as well as a Tellurium indicating the position of the earth and moon around the sun in real time. The stars rotate around the sun over the 365 days of the calendar, and the correction is made solely by the crown.

Conceptualized in our Paris workshops by Théo Auffret and his team, the complication takes the form of an additional plate that connects to the Soprod P024 Swiss automatic movement. All complication components are made in Switzerland, and the timepieces are assembled in France by our watchmakers.

A small revolution in the world of affordable timepieces, SpaceOne presents here the first opus of an astronomical timekeeper that will be available in blue titanium as well as in black tiane and Onyx
