Roger Dubuis joins the fight against world hunger by supporting a Charity Auction in support of the UN World Food Programme

Roger Dubuis donated two Excalibur timepieces as part of a high-profile Gala Dinner and Charity Auction held in Dubai this month in support of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

Gathering high-profile guests and other prominent partners, the event was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, President of Dubai Civil Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai on April 17th.

As Official Watch Partner of the fundraising event, Roger Dubuis presented the organisers with a pair of the exquisite Excalibur 42 Automatic in steel and the Excalibur 36 Automatic in steel with diamonds - which were auctioned off at the event.
Both timepieces are bearing the prestigious Poinçon de Genève and house mechanical movements entirely developed at Roger Dubuis’ Manufacture based in Geneva. Proceeds from the watch auctions went towards aiding WFP’s efforts.

“We are proud to be part of this UAE-wide effort to strengthen the WFP’s mission of alleviating hunger around the world. Roger Dubuis takes its role as a responsible corporate body very seriously and welcomes this opportunity to contribute towards a worthy cause,” said Jean-Sebastien Berland, Regional Brand Director of Roger Dubuis Middle East and India.
