Rado Esenza Ceramic Touch Jubilé 132 Limited Edition

Material magic for added sparkle

If a little material magic goes a long way, this exciting new Rado model could be light years away by the time you catch up with it.

Blazing a trail past other ceramic watches the Rado Esenza Ceramic Touch with its patented sensual setting was an overnight sensation after its launch in 2013. 2014 sees the ceramic touch technology in the spotlight again with a spectacular Rado twist.

A galaxy of diamonds on the dial swirl and whirl away into the great beyond, and onto the case and then the bracelet links, where – for the first time at Rado – they are set directly into the ceramic. Painstaking research led to this new materials technology being used in watchmaking for the first time this year.

The monobloc case and each tiny individual high-tech ceramic bracelet link is taken and marked exactly where the diamonds need to be placed to ensure the perfect pattern. Tiny holes are then made in the ceramic using a laser.

Platinum is then softened and shaped in a tiny quantity into each cavity before the diamond is set into the ceramic. Each individual diamond is set by hand using traditional watchmaking skills and the platinum is almost invisible after setting. This is a very complex watch to create as well as a very beautiful timepiece.

A total of 132 diamonds show Rado at its very best: innovative ceramic touch technology, sleek minimalistic design and a dash of material magic all combine to create understated luxury with an ethereal feel.

Perfect for the lady who likes to be noticed for all the right reasons, the Rado Esenza Ceramic Touch Jubilé 132 is out of this world.
