Berneron Mirage 38 Prussian Blue

The Mirage is the first shaped watch to draw its asymmetry from its calibre, rather than from an external free shape. Prussian blue has been a crucial pigment for the development of fine arts, being accidentally formed by the oxidation of iron at the beginning of the 18th century. Adopted by European easel painters and Japanese artists, it later became Picasso’s characteristic pigment during its Blue Period.
