Zenith Defy Extreme Ultraviolet

The DEFY Extreme Ultraviolet is crafted in matt microblasted titanium that keeps the case remarkably light and comfortable on the wrist. It combines violet-tinted sapphire elements with matching subdials in a layered construction that creates visual depth and a sense of technical precision. Its automatic El Primero 9004 calibre features two independent escapements, each operating at a dedicated frequency. The first beats at 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour) for timekeeping, while the second runs at an extraordinary 50 Hz (360,000 vibrations per hour) to power the chronograph, enabling measurements accurate to 1/100th of a second. Delivered with a violet rubber strap, a microblasted titanium bracelet and a black high-performance Velcro strap. Thanks to the DEFY Extreme’s intuitive interchangeable strap system, these can be swapped in seconds - no tools required.
