Oris Big Crown Pointer Date

It’s been an Oris icon since 1938, and now it’s back with a playful colour palette and a new bracelet: meet the new Big Crown Pointer Date. The story of the original Big Crown is legendary. Created for gloved airmen of the 1930s, it was distinguished by its large, legible Arabic numerals, its central, red-tipped pointer date hand, the 31-date scale running around the dial edge, and – of course – its oversized crown. It’s been in constant production for almost 90 years, serving as both a useful toolwatch and a stylish, timeless accessory. This year, we’re giving it fresh air time with a range of additions to the core collection, including three to the 40.00 mm automatic variant. This is now available with warm yellow, turquoise blue and calming lilac dials, three colours chosen to bring a daily dose of joy to the wrist. We’ve also added a new metal bracelet with brushed and polished links and a seamless folding clasp. Its ergonomic H-link design gives the Big Crown Pointer Date a sporty, protean profile with dress-up and dress-down versatility. The Big Crown Pointer Date takes off again.
