BREGUET AND THE CONCOURS DE GENÈVE: END OF 2014 SEASON
The 69th edition of the Concours de Genève ended on a high note. This year again, for the thirteenth consecutive time, Breguet remained a major partner of this prestigious institution.
The two featured disciplines of this new competition were the Flute and the Piano.
During the Flute final, Adriana Ferreira (25 years old, Portugal) has been awarded the Breguet “Coup de Coeur” prize for her splendid interpretation of the concerto by André Jolivet. Including the recording of an album accompanied by an orchestra and a portrait of the artist, this highly coveted prize aims to contribute to the launch of a successful international career.
For the Piano final, the talented Ji-Yeong Mun (18 years old, South Korea) was rewarded with the first prize. This young prodigy of the piano unanimously won over the competition’s jury. She was rewarded with a prestigious Breguet timepiece, the iconic Reine de Naples, for her exceptional interpretation.
