Baselworld Day1: Palace Dogs
The show opened today. The workmen in blue overalls have been replaced by hostesses in BaselWorld blue.
The the booth assemblers' coolness made way for the frenzy of horologic discovery.
As every year, it all took place under the tent.
The Basel-Dogs told us about their beginnings in the independent watchmaking field, in a series of video-taped interviews! Video is one more trick up watchonista's sleeve.
Ana Markovic, an experienced presenter at TSR, questioned our Usual Suspects independent watchmakers:
This press inauguration-day was an opportunity for Watchonista to discover Patek's novelties.
W. team also discovered the very funny Z-33 on Omega's booth, a complication from the 80's set into a case from the 70's, featuring a technology from the 90's.
This opening is a good omen for the next days.
