Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) wins the Swiss leg of the Longines FEI World Cup™ in Zurich

After an exciting competition, Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) and Carlo are the winning team of the only Swiss leg in the Longines FEI World Cup™ series, which took place in the frame of the Mercedes-Benz CSI Zurich. Longines supports this series as Title Partner. Furthermore, the brand is implicated for the second year in a row as Main Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Mercedes-Benz CSI Zurich. 

Numerous visitors witnessed this 5-star-event at the Hallenstadion and admired the performances of the world’s best riders and horses. During the spectacular single Swiss leg of the Longines FEI World Cup™ series on Sunday, one of the highlights of this year’s Mercedes-Benz CSI Zürich, the best pair was Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) on Carlo. Bertram Allen (IRL) on Molly Malone V finished second while Rolf-Göran Bengtsson from Sweden riding Casall ASK reached the third place. The winner was presented with a beautiful Longines timepiece by Mr. Charles Villoz, Vice-President of Longines. The winner of Friday’s Longines Grand Prix, Penelope Leprevost (FRA) on Flora de Mariposa, was as well among the lucky ones to receive an elegant watch of the Swiss watch brand.
