Martin Fuchs And Clooney 51 Captured The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™

Longines was proud to be the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International held at Lyon Eurexpo.

Five days of intense competitions came to an end today with the victory of Swiss rider Martin Fuchs on Clooney 51 in the third leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League. Longines was also delighted to take part in the second highlight Jumping trial, the Longines Grand Prix, which took place on Friday and was successfully claimed by Kevin Staut (FR) on Urhelia Lutterbach. The great winners of both competitions were granted with elegant timepieces in celebration of their remarkable sports achievement.
 

Swiss watchmaking brand Longines was glad to take part in Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International as its Title Partner and Official Timekeeper. This world-class event reached climax today with the third leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Western European League, won by Martin Fuchs (CH) on Clooney 51. The podium was completed by American rider Jessica Springsteen on RMF Zecilie, who earned second place and Pieter Devos (BEL) on Claire Z who secured third place. This qualifying leg allows its talented participants to accumulate points for the much-awaited Final taking place in Las Vegas, in April 2020.
 

On Friday 1st of November, the brand timed the second Jumping highlight trial of the event, the Longines Grand Prix, which was claimed by Kevin Staut on Urhelia Lutterbach on their home soil. Compatriot Alexis Deroubaix and his mount Timon d’Aure finished second ahead of Martin Fuchs (CH) on Silver Shine. The winners of both trials were presented with elegant timepieces from the hands of Matthieu Baumgartner, Longines Vice President Marketing.
 

Known as Europe’s biggest annual equestrian gathering, Longines Equita Lyon, CHI offered five days of national and international competitions for riders at all levels in the disciplines of Jumping, Driving and Dressage to spectators.
