Marco Kutscher achieved the incredible feat of winning the bonus of the Longines Masters
Marco Kutscher on Van gogh won the bonus of the Longines Masters after his victory of the Longines Grand Prix of the Longines Masters of Hong Kong, the third and last leg of the series.
Thanks to this fabulous achievement and to his success during the first leg in Los Angeles in October, the German rider won the bonus of 250’000 euros. In addition of the Longines Grand Prix, Longines presented a second highlight of the weekend, the Longines Speed Challenge, won by Bertram Allen on Quiet Easy 4 on Saturday evening. As Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the event, Longines is proud to have provided its timekeeping expertise to all the competitions of the weekend, which has gathered the international top riders. Longines also had the pleasure to present the Official Watch of the Longines Masters of Hong Kong, a model from The Longines Master Collection.
Hong Kong hosted the third and last leg of the Longines Masters. After the first stage in Los Angeles in October and the second in Paris in December, the top international riders competed in Hong Kong this weekend. The weekend finished with the incredible victory of Marco Kutscher during the Longines Grand Prix. The German rider captured the bonus of 250’000 euros thanks to his two Longines Grand Prix title in Los Angeles in October and this weekend in Hong Kong.
On Saturday evening, Bertram Allen on Quiet Easy 4 won the second highlight of the weekend, the Longines Speed Challenge. This competition recognised as the fastest of the world and renowned for its very special atmosphere kept its promises and charmed the public of Hong Kong.
One of the most popular dancer, singer and actor of Asia, Longines Ambassador of Elegance Aaron Kwok was present on Sunday. Known as "the Michael Jackson of Hong Kong", the multi-talented artist, who is a keen fan of horses, attended the Longines Grand Prix.
Longines also presented the Official Watch of the Longines Masters of Hong Kong, a model of The Longines Master Collection. With a diameter of 40 mm, this chronograph features a refined silvered stamped barleycorn dial with a moonphase display. The transparent case back of its stainless steel case reveals the self-winding mechanical movement.
