In the frame of “The President of the UAE Showjumping Cup presented by Longines” in Al Ain (UAE), the Dutch Maikel van der Vleuten won last Saturday’s Longines Grand Prix on his stallion VDL Groep Verdi. With 0 faults and a fast ride he finished ahead of Holger Wulschner (GER) on Cavity G and Tina Fletcher (GBR) on Hello Sailor.

As the FEI’s first Top Partner, Longines was the Official Timekeeper of last week’s competitions in Al Ain. In the presence of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, member of the executive board of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and President of Al Ain Equestrian & Shooting Club, Longines was the presenting partner of the Longines Grand Prix with a total prize money of 320’000 Euro.
