On Saturday, November 2, the Swiss watch brand timed the victory of Vino Rosso, ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr., in the Longines Breeder’s Cup Classic. Affirming its longstanding connection with equestrian sports, Longines was also the Title Partner of the Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff and the Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf, both run on that day. The Official Watch highlighted at Santa Anita this weekend was a model from the emblematic Longines Master Collection.
 

Swiss watch brand Longines served as the Official Partner, Official Timekeeper, and Official Watch of the 36th Breeders’ Cup World Championships, which took place on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 November in Santa Anita, CA (USA). On Saturday, Vino Rosso and his jockey Irad Ortiz Jr., galloped to victory in the Longines Breeders’ Cup. On the same day, Longines returned as the Title Partner of the Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff, won by Blue Prize, as well as of the Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf, won by Bricks and Mortar. The winning connections of these three races received elegant timepieces from the hands of Longines representatives.
 

The weekend was also marked by the much-awaited Longines Prize for Elegance, in keeping with the brand’s motto ‘Elegance is an Attitude’. The fashion contest celebrated individual expressions of elegance, rewarding those Breeders’ Cup attendees who exude style, sophistication and confidence with a Longines timepiece.
