A Whirlwind Tour de LW

Have you had an out-of-the-body experience? It was like that when I felt like one of the few dozens of typhoons hitting Asia recently, sweeping across continents in a short spurt. There has barely been any rest, almost being in a new place every day, leaving an LW mark everywhere.


I headed out to Sintra (some 45 minutes outside Lisbon) for the grand opening of our Portuguese retailer, Relojoaria Faria Sintra. For one night only, the store turned into a LW pop-up flagship. Striking LW Blue branding presented across the retail environment, high-calibre guests and customers in attendance, I was very impressed.

Within 24 hours, I was half way across the world for retailer visits and press calls in Tokyo, closely followed by Seoul. Before I knew it, I was on a plane again heading down to the southern hemisphere to land in Manila in the Philippines, only to be whisked away from the airport straight to a fun night out with my hosts and our retail partners.

Rest? You can forget that in Manila. The high-energy all-entertaining theme continued into the event of the town, a stylish and bespoke affair, organised by our retailer the next day for the local elite, to offer them a fine and fun taste of the LW experience.


While in Asia, I managed to make a pit stop in Hong Kong, and then Singapore for a few hours, with just enough time to discuss new developments for the regions. The madness would soon subside (thank God) but not without an extra stop in Dubai to meet more demand from the press and customers. I may be back in London now but typhoon LW is gaining strength again, exciting news is pouring soon. Watch this space.
