Watchmaker JEANRICHARD: Partner of the 20th Trophée Mer Montagne at Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc

Watchmaker JEANRICHARD: Partner of the 20th Trophée Mer Montagne at Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc

On Thursday January 31, JEANRICHARD presented the winning team of the Trophée Mer Montagne with its Terrascope.

Founded in 1994 by Eric Loizeau and organized by Elovoyagers agency, the Trophée Mer Montagne 2013 was held from January 28th to 31st. It brought together two enthralling worlds that seem so different at first sight yet on closer inspection share so many points in common, starting with their champions. The Trophée Mer Montagne is an event unlike any other where the world’s elite of sea and mountain rubs shoulders with budding young athletes. The teams, drawn by lots at the start of the competition, are each composed of a sailor, a mountaineer and a young person from the ski station.

JEANRICHARD bases its philosophy on values of authenticity, simplicity, creativity, and uncompromising watchmaking credibility and performance. With its sporting and technical background and its love for the spirit of adventure, JEANRICHARD found this same philosophy of life in the Trophée Mer Montagne.

These friendly sporting encounters are an occasion for the competitors to challenge each other over some ten trials during the three days of the competition. At the end of these different events, JEANRICHARD presented the team of [Franck Cammas, Guillaume Vallot, Camille Balbo], winner of this 20th Trophée Mer Montagne, with its eminently masculine and resolutely sporty model, the Terrascope.

JEANRICHARD SUPPORTS FRANCK CAMMAS IN HIS SPORTING CHALLENGES

JEANRICHARD is first and foremost partner to Franck Cammas who has been taking part in the Trophée Mer Montagne for some years now. A great lover of the high peaks, he would not miss this event for the world. It was this seeker of challenges that naturally persuaded the watch firm to get involved.

Franck Cammas, winner of the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012, led the sailors alongside Yvan Bourgnon, winner of the Jacques Vabre Transatlantic, and world-class adventurer Mike Horn.

The mountaineers were led by Luc Alphand, four times winner of the Philippe Goitschel World Cup and four times world speed skiing champion.
